Course Description
This course introduces fundamental AWS concepts (compute, storage, networking, security) to understand cloud computing basics and prepare for the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam.

- Workshop: account creation (or sandbox account) & console navigation.
- EC2 (instances), S3 (object storage), RDS (managed databases), IAM (identities & roles).
- Workshop: launch an EC2 instance and create an S3 bucket.
Security, Billing & Resource Management
- AWS Shared Responsibility Model.
- IAM, MFA, access best practices; overview of KMS and AWS Shield.
- VPC networking: basics to isolate and secure.
- Workshop: create an IAM role and attach it to an EC2 instance.
- Pricing: On-Demand / Reserved / Spot; Free Tier & limits.
- Cost Explorer, Budgets, Trusted Advisor: tracking & optimization.
- Workshop: analyze the cost of an EC2 instance and an S3 bucket.
